I loved the location of this motel! It’s super handy if you're heading to the nearby sports club or looking to grab a bite at the restaurants within walking distance. Plus, the pool was a lifesaver during that scorching 40+ degree heat. The spacious family room was a pleasant surprise too – perfect for relaxing after a day out!

The experience wasn't all sunshine. The staff were pretty unfriendly, and the reception was often unattended, which felt a bit neglected. The bathroom was cramped, and hot water seemed to vanish by evening. Oh, and that swampy smell from the lake? Not great. it’s a mixed bag for me.

loved my very relaxing stay on the weekend. all the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, fixed my issues. overall it was neat and terrific with comfortable bed. i had an electric kettle, a microwave, and climate control. the location was good and magnificent close to the town centre and met requests.

During my recent stay for a weekend getaway, I was impressed by the comfortable room that provided a welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, complete with adequate towel rails which are often overlooked in many motels. The continental breakfast was another highlight, featuring plentiful supplies and more than enough butter for toast. the location was perfect for a leisurely walk to the main street for dinner, and surprisingly, the noise levels were minimal for such a central spot.

Everything was good, nice hotel, the location was fantastic close enough to beautiful Forbes, passing trucks for much of the night, and the town centre. The staff was very welcoming, outstandingly accommodating. They gave me beautiful and terrific room with all required facilities and a big fridge, for example.

My family and I, including our two four-year-old daughters, had a mixed experience at Lake Forbes Motel. While the cleanliness and proximity to beautiful landmarks like the Gum Swamp and Bird Hide enhanced our stay, the loud highway noise and uncomfortable shower situation were disappointing. The outdoor pool was great for the kids, but the overall service left much to be desired.

The host was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a comfy bed that made for a restful night.
